So asak pointed qwuestions of the school including how many of their graduates have found employment in their field after graduatiuon, what companies they went to work for, and how much they are typically making at their new job? Don't settle for vague answers here. If the school is reputable they will track these figures and be glad to share them with you.

  • See if you can find some former graduates of the school that you can talk with in person and ask about their impressions of the school itself and the education that they offer. This can be one of the best sources of unbiased information that you can get. And don't forget talking to some of the companies that are in the field you want to pursue and ask about their impressions of hiring someone from a particular vocational school

  • Finally, be sure to read the contract very carefully before you sign anything. Don't let yourself be pressured into signing anything quickly. Do your home work and take your time.

If you follow the suggestion given above, most likely you will be able to determine whether or not a particular vocational school will be a good investment or not.
